Terms of Service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Back to One, a production-management platform provided to film and video production companies for coordinating shoots ("the Service"). By creating an account or being added to a production team, you agree to these terms.

Who can use the Service

Back to One is a business-to-business (B2B) tool. Accounts are created and managed by a production company ("the Account Holder") for its own team members, crew, and cast. If you were added to a project by a production, that production is responsible for your access and the data it enters on your behalf.

Accounts and access

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Producers and admins on a team can grant or revoke access to projects at their discretion.

Your content

You retain ownership of the project data, media, and documents your team uploads to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and operate the Service — for example, hosting video for review playback, generating call sheets, or storing production documents.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload content you don't have the rights to use or share.
  • Send unsolicited messages to crew or cast outside a legitimate booking.
  • Attempt to access another team's data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or security.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, including Supabase (database and file storage), Mux (video processing and streaming), Resend (transactional email), and Twilio (transactional SMS). Your use of the Service is also subject to the acceptable-use terms of these providers where applicable.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, modify features, or temporarily suspend access as needed to operate or improve the Service.

Termination

An Account Holder may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a team or individual account that violates these terms or the acceptable-use section above.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Back to One is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date above.
